- Clarity and conciseness- An interface must be clear but not be overflowing with information to avoid losing the interest of the user.
- Intuition- An interface must be easily navigable and familiar to users. (e.g. tabs/pages)
- Responsive- The user interface must be fast to avoid frustrating the viewer and be interactive.
- Organised- The interface must be organised to engage the user.
- Attractive- Varying colours and images will make the interface appealing.

-Touchscreen capabilities are effective through allowing the user to have more control as well as being convenient. It is inclusive in that many users are aware of how to use it and is simple to learn how to use. Touchscreen functions can manipulate aspects of the interface through being able to enlarge or reduce the size of images or scroll up or down a page. Touchscreen capabilities can be adjusted to be turned on or off.
-Volume control is an effective element through making the computer preferable to use. It is inclusive in that it is a basic function which all users know how to use. Volume control can be manipulated to varying levels of loudness ranging from a scale of 0 to a 100. The volume control can fully be adjusted to be be turned off or mute.
-Screen brightness allows for effective use being that if power wants to be saved, screen brightness can be dimmed or the screen can be brightened if poor lighting is available. It is inclusive in that many users know how to alter it. Screen brightness can be manipulated or adjusted easily, even on the keyboard.
-Icons are effective elements through allowing easier navigation around the interface. They are inclusive in that they are visible shortcuts to a particular software or program. Icons can be manipulated or moved to be positioned wherever a user chooses such as on the desktop or on the taskbar. Icons can also be adjusted to be deleted if not wanted.
-Date and time pickers are effective through informing the user and are inclusive in that it helps most people. The date and time can be adjusted easily through selecting the right day and time zone.
